How it works

01

Meet Ophelia

Connect with an Ophelia provider via telemedicine through your phone or computer.

02

Get Medication to End Withdrawal

If it's right for you, the doctor will prescribe medication, which can be filled through Ophelia and delivered to your home.

Typically, patients start with Suboxone, which:

  • relieves withdrawal symptoms
  • reduces cravings
  • prevents overdose

We'll support you through the process as much or as little as you want. Some people benefit from therapy and peer support, and some don't. It's up to you: we promise not to force you to do anything.

03

Recover at Home, For Good

Recover in the privacy of your home, with all of the support you need. Ophelia will manage your prescription for as long as you need it, making sure it's refilled and delivered on time. And if you ever want someone to talk to, you'll always have access to a peer in the form of a care coordinator.

Everyone's timeline is different. Some people stay on buprenorphine long-term, and others will taper or transition to a different medication, naltrexone (Vivitrol). Naltrexone works by blocking your opioid receptors, so that if you ever slip up, you won't feel high or be at risk of overdose. It's a self-control mechanism that some people find helpful.

Recovery can be hard: there's no question about it. But scientists have figured out a treatment plan that works .

Ophelia makes it possible on your own terms.
